Building a
Technology Focused Community
At HAKing Innovation, we’re building a community.
A community to expose children to careers as an engineer.
A community to ensure that child’s first job isn’t at Mcdonalds, but designing circuits in a lab.
A community to be a resource when that student in college.
Let’s be clear. Understanding technology is more than a one hour class. Innovation doesn’t only happen on weekends. Problem solving doesn’t have a set timeline. HAKing Innovation teaches students to acknowledge that there’s a process to developing talent. We make learning fun, but are intentional to also show it’s fun to learn.
Hands on Learning
Students at HAKing Innovation get up close and personal with technology. We believe kits have a purpose, but encourage students to take electronics apart, see how they work, and learn how to re purpose them for a new need.
HAKing Innovation is committed to technical comprehension. We use engineering vocabulary, and have our students fully explain what they’re working on.
Workfoce Development
Gigi received her first engineering internship through HAK where she was able to develop communication skills, work on technical projects, and receive training and mentorship from practicing engineers.
